In Today’s PICNIC episode, we will welcome John Stewart, Ipswitch’s Network Infrastructure and Security Director.
John has been an IT professional since 1995, with responsibilities involving security for most of that time He attended his first SANS conference in 1997, which opened his eyes to many security risks. He has been with Ipswitch since 2010, and works out of the Madison office.
John has more than 14 years of experience implementing a diverse range of technologies with a focus on IT infrastructure, offering a great level of communications at all levels of technical expertise and is a continuous learner who loves discovering and implementing technologies which improve business operations while containing costs. His key specializations are: Virtualization, VMWare, ESX, VirtualCenter, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Windows, Linux, Solaris, Cisco IOS, CatOS, LAN, WAN, routing, switching, wireless.
At the occasion of today’s episode, John will use his extended experience to share his Security best practices and advices to be trained on:
